History of Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro

The history of the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro headphones is a tale of innovation, perseverance, and a commitment to delivering outstanding audio experiences. Anker Innovations, the parent company behind the Soundcore brand, was founded in 2011 by Steven Yang, a former Google engineer. The company initially focused on developing high-quality power banks and charging accessories but soon expanded into other areas of consumer electronics.

In 2014, Anker introduced the Soundcore brand to the market, with a vision to create a lineup of audio products that would cater to music enthusiasts and audiophiles alike. The Soundcore team, comprising audio engineers, industrial designers, and acousticians, embarked on an ambitious journey to redefine the audio landscape with cutting-edge technology and exceptional sound quality.

Over the years, Soundcore gained recognition for its Bluetooth speakers and wired earphones. However, the true wireless earbuds market had started to take shape and emerge as a preferred choice for consumers. The Soundcore team saw this as an opportunity to push the boundaries of audio engineering and design, and so the idea for the Liberty Air series was born.

The first iteration of the series, the Liberty Air, launched in 2018 and gained popularity for its affordable price and impressive performance. Building on this success, the Soundcore team continually sought to enhance and refine their product line, incorporating user feedback and embracing the latest technological advancements.

Finally, in 2021, the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro was unveiled. This new addition to the Liberty Air series was designed with a perfect blend of form and function. The team worked tirelessly to develop these headphones, focusing on advanced features like active noise cancellation, customizable sound profiles, and extended battery life. With the Liberty Air 2 Pro, Soundcore aimed to create a product that would stand out in the saturated true wireless earbuds market and cater to the discerning needs of their customers.

So I’m more than satisfied with these headphones, which have a sound quality that’s equal to or better than that of the big brands that sell for much more! The ambient noise reducer works well too. The sound is crystal clear, and there are plenty of settings. On the other hand, I’m taking off one star because the fit to the ear isn’t great, even when changing plug sizes. But maybe that’s due to the shape of my ears…? For everyday listening at work and at home, they’re fine, but jogging with them is not an option!
